Jennifer Leak, known for roles in Yours, Mine, and Ours and The Young and the Restless, passed away on March 18 at her Florida home after battling progressive supranuclear palsy, a rare neurological disease. She was 76.
Born in Cardiff, Wales, Jennifer moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. She gained fame in 1968 playing Lucille Ball’s daughter in Yours, Mine, and Ours and later appeared in Hawaii Five-0, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and various soap operas, including Bright Promise and One Life to Live.
Her ex-husband, Tim Matheson, remembered her as a strong, smart, and beautiful woman, while offering condolences to her husband of 47 years, James D’Auria. Jennifer retired from acting in 1992 to work in real estate.
