P3. Entitled couple stole my premium plane seat but I taught them a lesson

I was comfortably settled in my aisle seat with extra legroom when an entitled couple approached. The woman, dressed in designer clothes, demanded, “You need to switch seats with me. I messed up the booking and won’t sit away from my husband.” She insisted on moving into my first-class seat despite having economy tickets, expecting me to comply without question.

Initially stunned by her arrogance, I reluctantly agreed to move to a cramped middle seat in row 12. However, I stayed calm, knowing I had a plan. A flight attendant, who had witnessed the exchange, approached me and revealed that the couple had been assigned to row 12 all along. I reported the incident to the chief purser without causing a scene. After reviewing the situation, the airline offered me the choice to return to my seat or accept compensation in the form of frequent flyer miles, enough for three future upgrades. I chose the latter and felt satisfied with the outcome.

As the flight neared its end, the purser confronted the couple, exposing their deceit to the rest of the passengers. It turned out they weren’t even married but were having an affair. They were escorted to the back of the plane and placed on a no-fly list. As the plane landed, all eyes were on them, and I couldn’t help but feel a sense of victory. I was proud of how I handled the situation, turning their attempt to cheat the system into a lesson they would never forget.
