Deeply moved, Elliot vowed to keep his nail painted as a reminder of her story, inspiring him to create the #PolishedMan movement.
This campaign encourages men to paint one nail to symbolize the one in five children affected by sexual violence and to raise awareness and funds for prevention and survivor support.
