A sign on the front window of a Dairy Queen in Kewaskum, Wisconsin, has sparked online attention. It declares the restaurant’s use of greetings like “Merry Christmas,” “Happy Easter,” and “God Bless America,” and its support for the U.S. flag and honoring veterans with free sundaes on Veterans Day.
Owner Kevin Scheunemann put up the sign four years ago after a customer complained about Christian music in the restaurant. His intention was to show the staff’s dedication to God and country, and it had not caused issues until recently.
